The SAS Award 2016 is granted yearly to three PhD students demonstrating outstanding research performance. The Award consists of a benefit of 1.500 € . The competition is open to doctoral students enrolled in the second or third year of study. Previous winners of the SAS Award are not eligible to apply.
The selection process will be based on the evaluation of the candidates’ scientific profile (30%), participation in the SAS activities (10%) and of a research product obtained during the doctoral programme (60%).
Deadline for applications: July 3, 2016.
The following documents must be enclosed:
a. CV, written in English, in Europass format.
b. The research product that the candidate selects to compete for the SAS AWARD 2016;
c. Up to three pages A4 describing the research conducted within the doctoral programme, giving a clear indication of the candidates contribution to the product proposed for evaluation, and in accordance with the research evaluation criteria listed below, in both Phase1 and Phase2.
