The second admission session for the 42nd cycle (a.y. 2026/2027) of the PhD Programme in Theoretical and Applied Neuroscience has been completed. The final ranking for TANREG 1 has been published on the official Call page. Publication of the result constitutes official communication to candidates. The deadline for acceptance of the awarded scholarship and for resolving any situation admitted under condition expired on 31 October 2026. The PhD Programme started on 1 November 2026. Candidates concerned should now follow any remaining enrolment or administrative instructions communicated by UNICAM.

The scholarship concerns TANREG 1 – “Chronic pain and neurodegeneration: a translational approach to understanding biological mechanisms and developing innovative therapeutic strategies”. The selection procedure has been completed and the final ranking has been published on the official UNICAM Call page. The ranking identifies the candidate awarded the scholarship and the eligible candidates in merit order. Publication constitutes official communication. 26 October 2026 · 3:00 PM CET: online interview completed.
28 October 2026: final ranking published for TANREG 1. Publication on the official Call page constitutes official communication to candidates.
31 October 2026: completed. Deadline for acceptance of the awarded scholarship and for resolving any situation admitted under condition. Any subsequent ranking update or administrative communication must follow the official Call and the instructions issued by the Advanced Studies Office.
1 November 2026: PhD Programme started. Mandatory starting date of the Cycle XLII PhD Programme.
First session – Final rankings published
Applications for the first TAN admission session closed on 24 August 2026 at 1:00 PM Italian time. The selection interviews were held on 8 and 9 September 2026, following publication of the shortlist and its amendment of 4 September 2026.
