Selection committee appointments, amendments, shortlists, interview calendars, rankings and other official acts are published through the institutional pages indicated in the relevant Call. For both Cycle XLII second-session procedures, the final ranking lists are now available on the official UNICAM Call pages. Publication of the results constitutes official communication to candidates, who must continue to consult the relevant Call page and any communications from the Advanced Studies Office. Scholarship recipients must follow the acceptance instructions and meet the 31 October 2026 deadline.

UNICAM Cycle XLII – Second session: 6 Regione Marche scholarships
Six funded positions are covered by the second-session procedure across five PhD Programmes. Each scholarship is tied to a Research Topic described in Annex 1. The selection procedure has been completed and the final ranking lists have been published on the official UNICAM Call page. Publication of the results constitutes official communication to candidates. Scholarship recipients must complete the acceptance procedure by 31 October 2026. This second session is a separate selection with specific regional eligibility requirements and does not offer positions without a scholarship.

The titles above are abbreviated for navigation. Refer to Annex 1 for the complete official titles, project descriptions, supervisors and additional obligations.
Eligibility at application: required degree already awarded; inactive, not in employment or unemployed; resident in the Marche Region or domiciled there for at least six months; under 36. No simultaneous enrolment in another university programme is permitted during this funded PhD.
Key dates: applications and €20 fee closed on 22 October 2026 at 1:00 p.m.; reference-letter submission closed on 23 October 2026 at 1:00 p.m.; interviews were held on 26 and 27 October 2026; the final ranking lists have been published; scholarship acceptance is required by 31 October 2026; mandatory start on 1 November 2026. Candidates awarded a scholarship must reply to dottorato@unicam.it using the completed and signed acceptance form sent by email. Candidates admitted under condition must resolve any pending situation by 31 October. Applicants with foreign degrees should check the documentation required by the Call within the same deadline.

UNICAM PhD Programmes – Cycle XLII · First session
This separate first-session application deadline expired on 24 July 2026. Candidates admitted to the second stage were published by application ID and the oral interviews were held according to the official calendar between 24 August and 11 September 2026.

Theoretical and Applied Neuroscience – Cycle XLII
Applications for the separate second-session Call concerning 1 Regione Marche-funded scholarship in the National PhD Programme in Theoretical and Applied Neuroscience closed on 22 October 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Italian time, and the reference-letter deadline expired on 23 October 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Italian time. Following the interview held on 26 October, the final ranking for Research Topic TANREG 1 has now been published on the official TAN Call page. Publication of the result constitutes official communication to candidates. The scholarship recipient must accept by replying to dottorato@unicam.it with the completed and signed acceptance form sent by email, by 31 October 2026. Any situation admitted under condition must also be resolved by that date. The PhD starts on 1 November 2026.
FIRST SESSION · FINAL RESULTS PUBLISHED
The first-session TAN application deadline expired on 24 August 2026 and the interviews were held online on 8 and 9 September 2026. The final merit rankings have now been published on the official first-session TAN Call page. Candidates should consult the ranking lists and follow the applicable acceptance and enrolment instructions.

First-session procedures: applications are closed and final merit rankings have been published for both the general UNICAM Call and the National PhD Programme in Theoretical and Applied Neuroscience. A new home for advanced education, research and the doctoral community
On 7 October 2026, the University of Camerino inaugurated the new Polo Santa Caterina and Palazzo Ribechi. The Santa Caterina complex is now home to the International School of Advanced Studies (ISAS), together with the School of Specialisation in Hospital Pharmacy, the Carlo Urbani School of Advanced Studies, the Science Library and University services dedicated to internationalisation and advanced education.
