What is a PhD?
The Ph.D program, established in 1980, is the highest level of education within the Italian academic system. Admission is through public selection following completion of a second-level academic diploma or a master's degree. The duration is 3 or 4 academic years, aimed at providing research-oriented competencies.
Courses are conducted in English at Unicam. Here you can find the activated Ph.D. programs. Student contributions and rules are defined annually.
The Ph.D. is a full-time commitment, focusing on advanced research methods and culminating in the award of a Ph.D. degree.
